AXSEM Semiconductors
AXSEM produces a wide range of RF transceivers/receivers/transmitters which are commonly used in the bands below 1 GHz. AXSEM transceivers are known for excellent sensitivity and very efficient power amplifiers. Typical sensitivities are in the range of -110 dBm to -126 dBm for 1.2 kbps (narrow-band or general-purpose). Depending on the IC the maximum output power is between 14 dBm and 20 dBm. As AXSEM RF transceivers have integrated RX/TX switches the matching networks are simple. Customers all over the world use AXSEM RF and wireless IC for various applications including automatic meter reading, sensor networks, audio transmission and others.
AX5043: 70 - 1050 MHz
The AX5043 is a true single chip narrow-band RF transceiver for the 70 MHz to 1050 MHz frequency bands. It offers the unique receiver combination of highest sensitivity, high selectivity and ultra-low power. Combined with its high transmit power capability (up to 20 dBm) a link budget of 143 dB is achieved. Only a few external components are required. The AX5043 works perfectly down to 1.2 kbps in a 6.25 kHz channel. |
AX8052F143
The AX8052F143 targets the highest performance narrow-band market with demands for many kilometers of communication range. A sensitivity of -126 dBm (-129 dBm with FEC) at 868 MHz and 1.2 kbps with a current consumption of only 12.5 mA (RF and MCU both running) make the AX8052F143 an outstanding device in its field. |

The AX5051 transceiver consists of an integrated RF front-end with modulator and demodulator, flexible communication controller and integrated voltage regulator. Base band data processing is implemented in the integrated communication controller for user-friendly communication and configuration via SPI interface. The integrated framing enables the use of low cost external micro-controllers. |
AX5042: 400-470 MHz
The AX5042 is a single-chip narrow-band RF transceiver for the bands in the frequency ranges of 400-470 MHz ad 800-940 MHz. The AX5042 offers with -123 dBm at 433 MHz and 1 kbps FSK one of the highest sensitivities in the market. Together with the 14 dBm power amplifier with 60 mA current consumption the link budget is 137 dBm. |
AX8052F151 400 - 470 and 800 - 940 MHz
The AX8052F151 is a complete universal RF-microcontroller for usage in the 400 - 470 MHz and 800 - 940 MHz SRD bands. It offers high integration, small footprint, flexibility and ultra-low power consumption. The AX8052F151 is able to transmit and receive data rates of 1 - 600 kbps for ASK modulated data, 1 - 250 kbps for FSK modulated data and 10 - 600 kbps for PSK modulated data. With a sensitivity of -116 dBm for 1.2 kbps FSK and 15 dBm maximum output power at 868 MHz, the AX8052F151 offers an attractive link budget. |
