Standalone DataNet Loggers |
Fourier is modifying the DataNet firmware, allowing the DNL910 and DNL920 to be run in non-wireless mode. The loggers will be configured directly via USB connection to PC, with no need for Receiver unit. All communication between DataNet software and logger is done via USB e.g data download, calibration, etc.

The standalone loggers can work in parallel to the wireless DataNet network, communicating with the same PC.
Using the same logger units, you may easily switch between standalone firmware and wireless firmware versions. This feature is planned for release by the end of Q2 09.
New DataNet Features – Release End of Q1 09
- DataNet 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software
- Reports Feature – User configurable report generation of logger data
- USB Data Download – Ability to download data from wireless loggers via USB port (e.g. in event RF transmission is not possible)
Tech Tips
When switching the DNR900 from Receiver mode to Repeater mode, you will not be able to switch back to Receiver mode unless you have an available DataNet network. Therefore, do not switch to Repeater mode if you only have one DNR900 at your disposal.
Future firmware version will enable switching between modes with no available network.
